Project Details – Bodega y Cocina

Custom web system for Bodega y Cocina, a company dedicated to event planning and personalized catering services. The solution was built using Laravel as the main framework, with the goal of digitizing and optimizing its commercial, operational, and administrative processes.

The system comprehensively covers customer management and event scheduling, with the following key features:

Custom quote generation: dynamic creation of commercial proposals with a selection of menus, services, locations, and specific conditions per event, with version history and PDF download.

Purchase order management: issuing and tracking orders for suppliers, with cost control associated with each event, approval workflow, and direct linking to approved quotes.

Customer and contact management: centralized database with interaction history, events held, billing data, and sales notes.

Event scheduling and management: interactive calendar with date scheduling, resource allocation (staff, equipment, space), and logistics tracking from quote to execution.

Dashboard and reports: key metrics on projected and actual revenue, quote conversion, purchase order status, and sales performance.

The system was developed with Laravel, utilizing a clean, secure, and scalable architecture. Tools such as Spatie Roles & Permissions were implemented for granular access control and PDF document generation capabilities. The database was structured in MySQL, and the system was deployed in a cloud environment with support for rapid updates.

Thanks to this custom development, Bodega y Cocina was able to improve the traceability of its operations, reduce proposal creation times, better control its operating costs, and provide more efficient customer service.
